Engineer - Structural Engineering Inspection - Hybride

Mission
We are looking for an engineer specialised in structural engineering inspection to join our large metropolitan team in transportation. You will be responsible for monitoring major structures such as the Olympic Park, the Ville-Marie and Viger tunnels, the REM, the Île-aux-Tourtes bridge and the Bonaventure Expressway. You will carry out inspection, recommend work and take part in additional expert assessments.
Responsibilities
Participate actively in inspections planning and coordination
Perform detailed inspection of various engineering structures, such as road and railway bridges, signaling and electrotechnical structures and other related works
Use different access methods (ropes, gondolas, catwalks, etc.)
Conduct studies and write technical reports, with photos and sketches
Contribute to the realization of additional expertise
Partake in load-bearing capacity assessment mandates
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
At least three years’ relevant experience in civil engineering, structures inspection
Active member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
Knowledge of Ministry of Transport inspection systems, GSQ, GSS and GSE
Curious, dynamic and organized
Team spirit and agility
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Fluency in spoken and written French
Completed worksite safety training (ASP construction card)
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
