Product Manager (ANZU)
As part of the extensive offering of products and solutions at Blue Ant Media, we are pleased to be looking for a role on the Media Pulse team, with a specific focus on our In-Game offering, ANZU. We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager (ANZU) to focus on developing, packaging, and positioning advertising solutions tailored to the needs of Canadian advertisers and agencies. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that ANZU’s offerings align with client goals, driving adoption and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, the needs of media buyers, and the ability to translate these insights into compelling product offerings. This role will also have associated sales targets, so experience in sales and sales strategy SPECIFICALLY WITHIN THE MEDIA INDUSTRY is required. A passion for gaming is a MUST!
Core Responsibilities & Duties
Product Packaging & Go-To-Market Strategy
- Design and optimize advertising packages that cater to the needs of advertisers and media agencies
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to craft compelling narratives and materials that showcase ANZU’s value proposition
- Define pricing models and packaging structures that maximize market penetration and revenue potential
Client-Centric Solutions
- Gather insights directly from advertisers, media buyers, and agencies to understand their challenges and opportunities in gaming environments
- Develop tailored solutions and features that address client pain points, such as targeting capabilities, measurement tools, and campaign optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, account management, and marketing teams to ensure product-market fit and seamless delivery of advertising solutions
- Partner with engineering and product teams to align technical development with advertiser needs and market requirements
Sales Enablement & Support
- Equip sales teams with the tools, training, and resources to effectively position and sell ANZU’s advertising products
- Act as a subject matter expert for ANZU’s offerings, participating in client meetings, pitches, and agency presentations as needed
- Attend and lead ANZU-specific sales meetings and assist sales team in closing ANZU-led deals
Market Analysis & Thought Leadership
- Monitor industry trends in digital advertising, gaming, and programmatic technologies to ensure ANZU remains at the forefront of innovation
- Advocate for the in-game advertising space, representing ANZU at industry events and conferences
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Define and track KPIs related to product adoption, revenue performance, and client satisfaction
- Leverage insights from campaign performance and market feedback to refine and optimize offerings
Qualifications and Experience
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in either: media planning / buying, media sales, product management or product marketing within the ad tech, media, or digital advertising space
Note: Candidates without experience working in media/advertising will not be considered for this role.
Advertising & Sales Expertise
- Deep understanding of the needs and workflows of advertisers and media agencies, including programmatic buying and campaign management
- Experience packaging and positioning ad products for sales teams or directly to clients
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong presentation-building skills and use of Power Point to create client-facing sales materials
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
- Proactive, client-focused mindset with a passion for delivering results
