For full-time employees:

Purpose of the role 

Under the supervision of the Social Media Lead, the holder of this position is responsible for planning and ensuring the execution of La Vie en Rose's daily social media operations. They participate in the development of social media strategies and the implementation of any changes or projects aimed at maximizing engagement, reach, and conversion across all social media channels. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Participate in the development of strategic plans for all social media channels;
  • Collaborate with the content strategy and creative teams to design posting schedules while ensuring La Vie en Rose’s brand image is upheld;
  • Coordinate all daily social media activities;
  • Create, plan, and maintain content calendars;
  • Maintain editorial rigor (image selection, approval processes, rights validation, sharing authorizations, etc.);
  • Manage production needs (photoshoots, asset creation, video needs, etc.);
  • Oversee social community management: monitor comments, respond to customer inquiries, create and animate conversations;
  • Continuously measure social media performance to identify issues and opportunities and propose solutions;
  • Research and adopt best social media practices;
  • Conduct effective competitor monitoring regularly;
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends;
  • Ensure clear communication and cooperation with various departments and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, media, or equivalent;
  • 2 years of experience in a social media role;
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or other analysis tools;
  • Basic knowledge of Canva platform (an asset);
  • Knowledge of digital media;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Bilingual, both spoken and written in French and English (The person must create marketing campaigns for the Canadian market);
  • Availability in the evenings and weekends to cover events and monitor social media.
