Job Description
Job purpose:
As a key member of the Corporate Security team, the Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the security posture of CPP Investments by coordinating and supporting critical aspects of CPP Investments’ global security and life safety program and practices. The Analyst, Corporate Security will be based in Toronto and will report to the Director, Corporate Security.
Major accountabilities:
- Conduct physical and technical security reviews for our global offices in line with industry standards.
- Support regional security audits through gap analysis and remediation in partnership with our global office managers and service providers.
- Assist in conducting vendor risk management reviews of potential vendors to protect CPPIB’s information, employees and offices.
- Support the collection and presentation of security-data and related metrics through Microsoft and Tableau programs.
- Draft security reports to leadership with support from Corporate Security’s management team.
- Support the delivery of security training and awareness programs.
Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum three years of experience in physical security operations within a Corporate Security team or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of security technology (e.g., CCTV, access control, intrusion detection) and other security-related systems.
- Good presentation and written skills.
- Ability to work independently and is a team player.
- Project management experience is a plus.
Education
- Completion of a professional security industry accreditation, including CPP, ASP, PSP is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft and Tableau programs
