IT Remote Workplace Coordinator Student

• Ensure mobile workplaces in Andrew Davison Building IT designated mobile floors meet mobile standards.
• Work with the Facilities Business Unit (BU) and the Leader, IT to configure and allocate workspace for paper file locations for IT Leaders.
• Work with the Facilities BU and leaders to allocate locker space for leaders on IT identified floors in the Andrew Davison Building.
• Facilitate mobile working best practices; reference tools using the IT Safety Teams site for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and ergonomic information.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a second year degree program in Commerce, Planning, Design or a related discipline.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Familiarity and/or experience with Microsoft Teams will be considered an asset.
• Success in this position requires excellent communication and writing skills, strong organizational and customer service skills, along with an interest in workplace safety and ergonomics.

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
• A security clearance will be conducted.
• If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
