IT Remote Workplace Coordinator Student

As a student, you will build lasting relationships with industry leaders, and contribute to work that will build and strengthen your skill sets. Primary duties include:
- Ensure mobile workplaces in Andrew Davison Building IT designated mobile floors meet mobile standards.
- Work with the Facilities Business Unit (BU) and the Leader, IT to configure and allocate workspace for paper file locations for IT Leaders.
- Work with the Facilities BU and leaders to allocate locker space for leaders on IT identified floors in the Andrew Davison Building.
- Facilitate mobile working best practices; reference tools using the IT Safety Teams site for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and ergonomic information.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a second year degree program in Commerce, Planning, Design or a related discipline.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity and/or experience with Microsoft Teams will be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires excellent communication and writing skills, strong organizational and customer service skills, along with an interest in workplace safety and ergonomics.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
- A security clearance will be conducted.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
