Warehouse Operator - Stoney Creek Warehouse

We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Logistics Team in Stoney Creek!

You will be responsible for working with other warehouse personnel to assemble orders, route inventory, support production while working in safe efficient and courteous environment. 

This is a Monday-Friday dayshift role, working 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $21.73 per hour.

We are looking for a teammate with:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Forklift (Electric Counterbalance) Certificate & Experience preferred
  • Quality handling of Inventory Stored and Received.
  • Accuracy of the Order Picked
  • Experience in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment considered an asset
  • Health and safety habits.
  • Achieving inventory-handling standards.
  • Achieving Order Picking standards.
  • Ability to communicate and work with co-workers in a professional courteous manner.
  • Inventory quantity control checks are documented and accurately recorded.
  • Meeting Warehouse plans and objectives.

This teammate will be accountable for:

  • Ensure all shipments are properly prepared for shipping and accompanied by a bill of lading, regardless of size or quantity as well as any other assigned duties that maybe requested.
  • Work on the various orders i.e.: LCBO, VEW, Direct to Licensee, Out of Province Transfers, Estates Wines Group, and Non-Wine.
  • While picking orders, ensure the product is free from damage.
  • Assist in warehouse cleaning and organization. Clean work area with a routine schedule and when needed.
  • As requested, do inventory on case goods when required.
  • Practice safe and courteous tow motor operation. Inspect and record tow motor daily routine check. Report to Warehouse Supervisor on any problems with warehouse equipment.
  • Record and report unresolved order issues that are not resolved to the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Store and or direct all receivables to appropriate person or place.
